Through our sustainable projects, we are working towards improving local engagement, increased biodiversity, and created a communal space that nurtures connection among residents. Our initiatives aim to foster a sense of belonging and provided tangible benefits to the village.
Founded in 2024, Broadway Village Gardens emerged from a collective vision of residents aiming to enhance their village through sustainability and community engagement. The establishment of our Community Benefit Society marks a commitment to enriching our local environment and fostering healthy lifestyles through shared initiatives.
Since its inception, Broadway Village Gardens has worked with its benefactor and proud new owner of the fields, Arlene Davies, to support the purchase of the land, conducted a Public Consultation and gained widespread local support for the project, and is now working towards making the project a reality.
In May 2024 we conducted a village-wide Public Consultation and presented our findings demonstrating widespread support for our project. You can see our full presentation showing the results of our survey below
